As we are nearing the end of Christmas Movies on TV for the 2013 Christmas Season, I have already discovered news on potential new Christmas Movies for 2014 and 2015! Details below!

If you have seen the commercial on the Hallmark Channel - thanking viewers for their support during this Christmas Season, then you may have also caught in the commercial that the Hallmark Channel will be back again next year on November 1st, 2014 with many of the Christmas Movies we love plus 12 New Original Christmas Movies!

The first New Movie is: NORTHPOLE - Coming in 2014!

Hallmark Channel is proud to announce a collaboration with Hallmark Cards, Inc., to create the Hallmark Channel Original Holiday Movie, ‘NORTHPOLE.’ Casting of the film is TBD. ‘NORTHPOLE’ tells the charming tale about a reporter who, with the help of her son and his teacher, recaptures the joy of the holiday season and in the process saves Christmas. ‘NORTHPOLE’ will premiere in 2014 during the network’s beloved “Countdown To Christmas” programming initiative. (source: Hallmark Channel)

The Hallmark Channel has also has acquired pitches for three other Christmas movies, all of which are in development as scripts. (source: The Hollywood Reporter)

A Royal Christmas, tentatively scheduled for Christmas 2014, centers on a young girl who, after accepting her boyfriend’s proposal, learns he is a prince. She must then gain the acceptance of his mother, who looks down on her humble origins. It is being written by Michael and Janeen Damian, who did the 2011 Hallmark original movie, A Princess for Christmas, their second-highest-rated original movie that year. Michael Damian also will direct.

Christmas Neverending, slated for 2015 and being written and directed by Robbie Fox (Playing for Keeps), features a Groundhog Day-esque plot about a girl who learns over Christmas vacation that her parents are planning to divorce. She wants them to fall in love again and makes a wish to repeat her vacation until they reignite their love.

Finally there's Better Than Perfect, a film about a woman’s search for the perfect man that is being written by Brad Holmes (Prison Women) and executive produced by casting director Penny Perry and Eugene Davis.

Titles and release dates for these movies may change - so please stay tuned!

I hope you enjoy this little news on Christmas Movies potentially coming in this New Year! I have personally so enjoyed Hallmark Channel Christmas Movies - day and night during this Christmas Season! I will certainly miss them come January 1st.

Thank you Hallmark Channel for all the wonderful family-friendly movies you show and for truly giving us "the very best"! You certainly are "The Heart of Christmas"!!!

Blessings to all, who visit here...

Christmas Morning + Free Printable

One of my favorite traditions on Christmas Morning...

The morning is fresh. The day is new. Presents are wrapped and waiting all pretty under the tree. Our family is all gathered around, we've had our delicious breakfast feast, surprises and delicious treats are peeking out from Christmas Stockings, the Children are filled with Wonder and Excitement, and the Grown-ups, too! It's a Joyful Scene, and yet the best time is when we share that quiet moment, before the opening of any physical gift, we receive the best gift of all.. the reading of the first gift of Christmas, the Christ Child.

I have created a Special "Print Out" of the reading from Luke 2, if any of you would like to print it and share with your family.

There are 2 versions to choose from:

(you can either click on the link or picture to load the image)

Nativity Printable - Large - White Background

Nativity Printable - Large - Gold Background

(*Please Note: The Large versions should print out just fine on a regular 8.5 x 11 in. paper. Click on links or pictures above to open images. Tip: If you open the image, you can click Copy, then Paste the image to a page at Microsoft Word, center and print.)

"For unto you is born this day in the city of David
a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord."
Luke 2:11

Merry Christmas!

I LOVE Two WONDERFUL Christmas Classics on TV Tonight... I Love Lucy & It's a Wonderful Life!

Oh, how do you choose when two "Wonderful" Christmas Shows
are on - at the same time?

Friday, December 20, 2013:

CBS will have the classic TV Show
"I Love Lucy" Christmas Special
- in Color at 8 PM (est)!

Plus, they will also play "Lucy's Italian Movie",
known as the Grape Stomping episode, as well.
So, it will be a full hour of Laughs with Lucy!

NBC will have it's first airing of
"It's a Wonderful Life"
at 8 PM (est)!

This is probably one of the latest years they have waited to show it. I wish we could have seen it sooner in the month, as well. NBC has exclusive rights to air it, and I think they have done a poor job with scheduling it, this year. I am grateful that it is shown; however, I want "It's a Wonderful Life" to be given the honor it justly deserves.

Whatever you choose to watch tonight...
I am sure you will enjoy it!

"Every time a Bell Rings... an Angel gets his Wings!"

Merry Christmas!!

It's a Wonderful Life moved to December 20th!

NBC has just changed their schedule and this may or may not be Wonderful News for many fans of It's a Wonderful Life.

Originally, it had been scheduled, since October, for the NBC Network to show It's a Wonderful Life on December 14th and 24th! It will now air December 20th and remain on the 24th, Christmas Eve, at 8 p.m. ET! Very close together!

"Well whaddya know about that!!!"
— George Bailey

Replacing NBC's scheduled broadcast of the holiday classic It's a Wonderful Life, is a repeat airing of the recently aired - Live stage version of The Sound of Music.

Personally, although I was looking forward to it this weekend, I think the 20th of December will actually be a Wonderful Night for It's a Wonderful Life to air! There won't be any new movies on the Hallmark Channel, ABC Family, UP, or Lifetime to compete on that night, so many more will be able to enjoy this beloved Christmas Classic!

"A toast to my big brother George: The richest man in town!"

A Christmas Tree Miracle - New Family Film on DVD

A New Family Christmas Film is being released today -
December 3, 2013, on DVD!

The movie is titled

For the George family, Christmas time has turned into a season of taking, instead of giving as they merely go through the motions of the holiday. Father David (Kevin Sizemore, "Under the Dome") is pre-occupied with his land developing job. Mother Julie (Claudia Esposito) is on the edge trying to hold the holiday together. Teens Nick and Natalie (Barrett Carnahan and Emily Capehart) are too busy adding to their growing Christmas lists. It's only the youngest child, six year old Nina (introducing Siomha Kenney), who seems to have any ounce of Christmas spirit.

When David suddenly loses his job before the holidays, the family denies the seriousness of the situation and continues to live above their means for nearly a year until it all catches up with them. With their families turning their back on them, the George's hit rock bottom. It's only the spirited little Nina who keeps the family going and believing until the family is taken in by an eccentric Christmas tree farmer (Terry Kiser, "Weekend at Bernie's") who gives his trees away. But when David gets an opportunity to give his family their old lives back, will he betray his farmer friend?

"A Christmas Tree Miracle" is a family film that remind us that the best gifts are the simple ones and miracles do happen, if you only believe. "A Christmas Tree Miracle" is produced by Flyover Films and Route 40 Films, executive produced by Kristin Seibert and Dolph Santorine, written by Ty DeMartino and directed by J.W. Myers.
